How to make a smoky/foggy firefight scene in GIMP
If you don't feel like editing your own self,use the in-game fog option. Most people already know of this technique,but this tutorial goes out to those who are still new to digital editing.
Here's what you need to do;
1; Take a picture of a heated up fighting scene.
Something like this:
2: Throw your picture into GIMP
3:Then go into filters>render>clouds>fog
4: Choose your level of smoky-smoke shit by adjusting the turbulence and opacity. DO NOT ADJUST IT TOO HIGH THOUGH ITS GONNA LOOK LIKE SOMEBODY THREW A FEW HUNDRED SMOKE GRENADES INTO THE FIELD.
NOTE: FOR NORMAL GUNFIGHT/FOG SMOKE:USE WHITE/GREY COLOURS
FOR FIRE KIND OF SMOKE USE DARK COLOURS Or if you want fart,just use green ._.

You know that picture I edited for you in the Edit my screenshot thread? I used a variety of techniques which I will reveal soon enough.
